When Life Hurts:

In life, we all face difficult and challenging times. These are the moments when we question the goodness of God and wonder why He would allow us to go through such hardships. Our faith may be tested, and we may feel like giving up. However, it is in these moments that we must remember that God is still God, and He is still in control.
One of the most powerful examples of this truth is found in the story of Job. Job was a man who loved God and was blessed with great wealth and a large family. However, Satan challenged Job's faith, and God allowed him to go through a series of trials and hardships. Job lost his children, his wealth, and his health, and his friends and even his wife turned against him. Yet, through it all, Job remained faithful to God, and in the end, God restored his fortunes and blessed him even more than before.
Another example is found in the life of Joseph. Joseph was sold into slavery by his own brothers, falsely accused of a crime, and spent years in prison. Yet, even in the midst of these trials, Joseph remained faithful to God, and God used him to save his family and the entire nation of Egypt from famine.
These stories remind us that even in the hardest times, God is still God. He is still in control, and He has a plan for our lives. We may not understand why we are going through difficult times, but we can trust that God is using them for our good and His glory.
In Psalm 46:1-3, we read, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling." This passage reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, even in the most challenging of times.
In Romans 8:28, we read, "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." This verse assures us that even in the midst of our trials, God is working all things together for our good.
Finally, in Isaiah 41:10, we read, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." This verse reminds us that God is with us always, and He will strengthen and help us through even the hardest of times.
So, let us hold on to these truths and trust in God, even in the hardest of times. For He is still God, and He is still in control
